NSW Building Licence 482043C · Pest and Termite Licence 5115113C
Regular inspections: no more than 12 months apart
AS 3660.2 sets regular termite inspections no more than 12 months apart.
Monitoring: no more than 3 months apart
Monitoring systems need service intervals no greater than 3 months under AS 3660.2.
Active baiting and product instructions may require more frequent visits. Confirm the schedule for the actual system installed.
When to inspect more often
New evidence, previous activity, changed site conditions, or restricted visibility can justify a shorter interval.
- After suspected termite activity
- After changes to landscaping or building access
- Following leaks or damage to a management system
- When an inspection report recommends earlier review
Arrange an annual plan
An annual inspection plan helps keep the next appointment and report review on your calendar.
An annual inspection does not replace the shorter servicing schedule of a monitoring system.
